Getting Started - Using SNAC is Fun and Easy!
Meal Planning Use the cards with your kids to help plan meals and snacks for the week. Discuss the food choices on the cards and let them choose the foods they like from each group, Brain, Muscle and Mover. The cards will help you and your children create a balanced food plan that is nutritional and delicious.
Shopping At the grocery store have your children use the cards to find the foods on your menu plan. As you shop, talk with your child about the food's connection to physical and mental activities.
Meal and Snack Times Use the cards at meal and snack times for conversations about how the foods will benefit your kids in their daily activities. For example, Brain Food enhances concentration; Muscle Food improves physical ability, and Sludge slows down both.
